Addie in her little apron.

One of my good friends, Alison, bought Addison and I cute matching aprons for Addison's Birthday. Since Alison lives in Vegas, I thought I would post some pictures of Addie sporting her cute little apron.

Playing with her little kitchen my parents gave her.

And last. . . This picture is to show you what Addison likes to do all day. She loves getting into the lazy susan. At first she would only get out the food that she ate, now anything is up for grabs. She will get out everything and anything she can. Then she will carry the food into the front room to me. Who needs toys right!?!

My First Baby Announcement

I actually made this baby announcement a while ago. I thought it turned out darling, mostly because our new little niece is adorable. Marlon took that picture of Marlie when he was visiting for Christmas and I just fell in love with it. Anyways, just thought I would share it since I had talked to some of you about making baby announcements.

Tag You Are It!

I've been Tagged!!!A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B. Each player answers the questions about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I was a Senior in High School. Just enjoying life and hanging out with friends.

5 things on my to-do list today: Well since today is pretty much over this is what I did today. Went to lunch with my mom and Teylor. Took Teylor this little tutu and wand I made her for to give as a gift, folded laundry, went to the store, made dinner. (Really exciting huh?!)

Snacks I enjoy: Honey Wheat Pretzels, Almond M&M's, Hot Tamales, Sugar Cookies.

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a a billionaire: Travel, Buy a new house and a few vacation homes, Open up my own store, Go on a Shopping Spree, Help others in need, Honestly what wouldn't and couldn't you do?!

3 of my bad habits: 1. I still bite my fingernails. I know it's a disgusting habit 2. I start to many projects at once. 3. I love shopping, and it doesn't help that I have a daughter to buy cute stuff for.

5 places I have lived: 1.Lehi 2. Logan 3. Midvale 4. Sandy Sad, I think that's about it.

Jobs I have had:1. Reds Frozen Yogurt 2. GAP 3. Credit Union Service Center 4. Zions Bank 5. New Freedom Mortgage 6.First Horizon 7. Mom

Things people don't know about me: 1. I would love to open my own little boutique. 2. I have never vacuumed my house-Tim always vacuums (nice husband I have) 3. I am a morning and a night person. 4. I like to buy certain brands of certain foods. For instance I like to buy Alberstons String Cheese, Premium Saltines, Yoplait Yogurt, JIFF peanut butter. I know it's weird and I have gotten better now that I am married. I will try to buy what's on sale, but there are just a few items I can't break away from.

Well that was pretty fun, thanks for the Tag Courtney.

I am Tagging: Shandi, Jamie, Becky, Teylor, and Julie

Weekend in Bear Lake

Last weekend our friends, Scotty and Jenn, invited us up for a nice weekend at their cabin in Bear Lake. We had so much fun playing games, snacking, sledding, snowmobiling and staying up late playing guitar hero. (Tim got Guitar Hero III for Christmas and we are now addicted.)

We didn't take to many pictures that weekend. We only pulled out the camera when we let the kids play in the snow. This was Addison's first time playing in the snow, and well. . . lets just say it wasn't her favorite activity. We did however manage to get some great pictures.

Scotty sure is one of the sweetest little boys around.

And here it is, how Addison really felt about being in the snow!!!
Isn't that the saddest little face!?!

Thanks Scotty and Jenn for inviting us, we had a blast!

Our Little Eskimo

Whenever Addison wears this sweater I will attempt to take a picture of her wearing the fur hood. I seem to fail every time, until yesterday. At first I would put her hood on and before I could even grab the camera she would immediately pull the hood back off her head. So of course I attempted again, she of course quickly pulled it back off. Back and forth we played this little game of me putting the hood on, and her pulling it off. After a few more times I would say to her, "You keep that on!" (in a silly little voice, of course) She would then giggle and pull the hood off. I quickly put it back on and said those same words, she now started to laugh and scream. We continued to do this for a while because I thought it was so funny. Here are some of the pictures.

One Cute Story

The other day I was talking to my sister-in-law, Keri Beth, and she told me that her daughter Madi wanted to take a picture of Addison to school for show and tell. She said that Madi had called Keri Beth upset because she had lost the picture. She was showing her friends on the bus and realized that she must have dropped it on the way to school. Keri Beth decided she would take another picture to Madi so she could have it for show and tell that day. Keri Beth said Madi was so cute, after school Madi told Keri Beth that all her friends thought Addison was so cute. I too thought that was adorable of Madi to be so excited to show all her friends her baby cousin and to be so proud that Addison was her cousin. Keri Beth then told me another funny story that Madi had asked her later that day. She told me that Madi had asked if she thought she and Addison looked a like. (Madi has blonde hair blue eyes, Addison has black hair brown eyes, half Asian) Keri Beth trying to put it as sweet as she could told her she didn't think so. Madi then said, "Well people think I look like Mary (who is Tim's younger sister) and Mary and Tim look alike, and Addison looks kinda like Tim so..." Keri Beth didn't know what to say, so she just said, "Yeah I guess there is a little similarity." I thought this was such a funny and cute story.

Addison sure does love Madi. She always is making Addison smile and laugh so hard. When Addison first started to learn to give loves (hugs) I remember we were leaving from Cam's graduation Party and Addison reached for Madi to give her a hug. That was the first time she has ever reached out to give a hug to someone else other than Tim and I.

This is a picture was taken when Addison was six months old.

Happy New Year!!!

We had a wonderful New Years Eve and New Years Day. This was our first year spending the New Year with Tim's family. Since Marlon was still in town we thought it would be fun to get all together one last time before Marlon went back to San Diego. We also had some friends who were in Tremonton staying with family for the holidays, and we thought it would be a perfect time to visit with them as well.

Here are some of the highlights from New Years Eve and New Years Day.

*Addison and I sitting at Big O Tires for an hour while we waited for the tires to get rotated(Tim wanted me to get the tires rotated before we went to Tremonton. It surprisingly went really fast. . . maybe because I automatically dreaded waiting there for an hour with Addison. She did really well, we watched a little news, walked around the tires, and had a few cheerios.)

*Tim getting off work at 3:00 (yeah!!)

*Visiting Ed, Kalisa, Dyson & Savannah. It was so much fun visiting with them. The last time we saw them(really it was just me as Tim was at work)was last Christmas. Addison was only 2 months old and Savannah was almost one and Dyson was 2 1/2. Kalisa is now pregnant with their third child, and looks amazing. I honestly would never guess she was due in a month. They are living in New York, while Ed attends school to become an Anesthesiologist. He has one year left and we are hoping they move back to Utah and live near us!!

*Having Pizza Plus Pizza and breadsticks dipped with Atwoods dressing. Every time we are in Tremonton I always want to get breadsticks from Pizza Plus. They really are the best breadsticks around. They are twisted with melted mozzarella cheese. . . yum! And who doesn't love the Atwoods ranch dressing?!

*Playing Nerts with Cam, Mary, Kerry, Marlene, Keri Beth, and Marlon. I hadn't played that card game since I worked at New Freedom.

*Tim falling asleep at 10:00 and waking up at 11:59. (What a Party animal Tim is!)

*Making skookies-mmmm Skookies!!

*Tim playing Tiger Woods with Marlon

*Addison waking up at 4 because the bumper pad fell on top of her. Yes it sure seems that Addison can never sleep peacefully at Tim's parents. Christmas she threw up, and now the bumper pad fell on top of her. I told Tim that the bumper pad was over her face, and he replied, "oops, that was my fault." I guess he didn't tie the top ties on. Too Funny

*Waking up and seeing the 11+ deer in front of Tim's parents house.

*Watching Mason shave, It was too cute for words watching him shave.

*Harmony, Steve, and Devyn coming up to Tim's parents to visit. It was so much fun visiting with Harmony and Steve and meeting Devyn for the first time, she is such a cutie. The last time we saw each other had to of been at least 3 years ago, right before they moved to Virginia. They are now living in Hawaii. I know aren't you jealous?! Now we each have little girls. Addison is just a few months older than Devyn. Poor little thing had a ear ache, we hope she is doing better.

*Mason taking Devyn and Addison for rides in his Tonka truck. Mason is the sweetest little boy. He is so nice to Addie and loves his new little sister. I thought it was so sweet when he told me his little sister, Marlie, was beautiful.

*Marlon taking us to Rodizio's for lunch. This was Addison's first time to Rodizio's, she wasn't too interested in any of the meat. Just the bread and the hard boiled eggs from the salad bar is all she wanted. We ended up eating way to much, but at that place it's hard to leave hungry. Thanks again Marlon for the delicious lunch.

Well that was our fun New Years. It's crazy to think that 2007 has come and gone and now here it is 2008, a whole new year of memories and good times to look forward to. We wish lots of joy and happiness for everyone this year!!
