Day Out With Thomas

Thursday we went to the Heber Valley Railroad to go and ride Thomas the Train. Like most boys, my nephew, JJ, LOVES Thomas the Train. My brother and his wife, Charity, thought it would be a fun family activity so my brother bought my parents and us tickets to go with them. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how much Addison was going to enjoy it and I was also a little worried since the weather had been so awful that day. Luckily as soon as we arrived the sun was out and it ended up to be a really nice night. Although Addison didn't know who Thomas the Train was, she had a lot of fun. Tim and I also had a great time spending the evening with my family. It was especially cute seeing how excited JJ was. When it was time to get on the train we had to sit in the carriage that looked like Clarabel. It was so cute, I went over to my mom's on Friday and JJ was still in his Thomas the Train T-Shirt, and still had on his tattoo.

Addison's favorite part was the tent that you could go and pet the little horses.

Addison loved the train ride, she would say, "Too Too"

Addison is going to have a. . .

Little SISTER!!!

That's right, we had another ultra sound last Wednesday and the Doctor gave us a very confident, "It's a Girl!" We are very excited. I am especially excited for Addison to have a little sister. I never had a little or big sis so I am excited for Addison to have that special relationship with her baby sister. Hopefully they will be best friends.

This Is The Place

Saturday Tim and I took Addison to This Is The Place Heritage Park. Tim and I hadn't been there before, but I had heard that they had baby animals and since Addison loves animals we thought it would be fun to take her.

She loved the horses, she would point and say, "Neigh."

Tim and I are pretty sure this was her favorite part,
petting the baby goats and lambs.

Again since Tim and I hadn't been there we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. There are lots of things for kids to do, especially if you have older children. We had a great time. We especially loved watching Addison get so excited about seeing all the animals.

Congratulations Mary!!!

Last Saturday Tim's little sister, Mary, graduated from Utah State with her degree in Elementary Education. We are so proud of her.

Mary has less than a month until her baby boy, Hudson, is due. Doesn't she make the cutest pregnant graduate?! We love you!!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

On Tuesday Addison and I went to the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point with my mom, my grandma, my nephew JJ, my cousin Kagan and her son Hollis. We actually tried to go during the Tulip Festival but the day we went they told us only 18% of the tulips had bloomed so we thought we would try later on. Of course the weather wasn't very cooperative but we finally made it to see the beautiful tulips. If you didn't happen to make it during the Tulip Festival, no worries because the tulips were slow to bloom this year and I feel like right now it the perfect time to go. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go next week with Tim. Here are a few pictures I took of Addison, as you can see she loved looking at all the beautiful flowers.

We couldn't leave out Addison's big cheesy grin.
As you can see she had a wonderful time.
