We are having a . . .

Well we aren't really sure exactly what we are having. As you know we had our ultra sound today. The doctor wasn't sure and the most we could get out of him was, " I am leaning towards a girl." He told me to schedule another ultra sound for a gender check at my next appointment. Tim and I thought that it looked like a girl, but what do we know?! The fact that the doctor wants me to have another ultra sound makes us still wonder. As for right now we will just think we are having a girl until we are told otherwise at my next appointment, which is May 7th. The good news is the baby looks healthy and everything is measuring right on. I will say that we are excited to have another ultra sound and we think it will be really cool to see the baby in 3-D when she or he is bigger. We'll post pictures of the ultrasound later.

I am sure it's driving you crazy now, but I think it's still kinda exciting!

Oh, I hate that. Next time drink a Pepsi and eat a candy bar so your blood sugar spikes when you go in! Then the baby will be moving all over!

Just a little trick I learned working at an OB office for 6 years...

That stinks. I'm sorry. It's too bad they won't look again sooner. We'll hope for another girl though. Wendy Knight is also having a second girl. Good luck!

How fun, another girl would be a blast! Guess it is a little hard because you don't know for sure but usually their guesses are pretty good. Do you guys have any names picked out yet? Keep us posted! Love ya

Oh, that is so frustrating! I had a friend who's doctor told her after the ultrasound ... "well, I can tell you that you have a 50/50 chance of having a girl" ... Ummm ... isn't that the same chance you have BEFORE the ultrasound, too?! Ha ha ha! I hope you find out for sure at the next appointment! Little boys are fun, too! :)

Boo Hoo! I was excited to hear what the newest little Shirley would be and then I find out that you are still uncertain. Oh well, I am sure at your next appointment they will be able to tell you. The important thing is that the baby is doing good! Yay!

They said the same thing to me when I was pregnant with Mackay "looks like a girl" I had 2other ultrasounds after that, both times they said girl (I think they just go lazy.) You can imagine our surprise when I deliverd a boy instead of a girl. I cried for a few minutes and then I was just so glad to have the thing out of me I did not care what it was~

Keep us posted. Any thoughts on names?

That is a bummer. How far along are you? Well that would be fun for Addison to have a little sister. I keep forgetting you are pregnant because we don't see you guys. Addison is so cute in those pictures. She has such a cute smile.

Man, I hate that! I hope they can tell on mine! I'm still going with girl. (Which, I don't know if I said before, but I thought it when you said you were pregnant.) But, who cares as long as it's healthy, right?!
