A Birthday Tradition

For as long as I can remember my mom has always given my grandma flowers on my moms birthday. I remember when I was a little girl going into the flower shop with my mom and helping her pick out some flowers for my grandma. I remember asking her why she was buying flowers for my grandma on her own birthday. I was to young to really understand the reason. It wasn't until I was older that I fully understood, and that is when I started the same tradition for my mom.

Today is my birthday and I love the tradition that my mom started that I have followed now for many years. I went and dropped off a vase of flowers to her today. I love my mom so much. She is such a sweet, kind, caring person. She is one of my best friends. I feel so blessed to have been adopted into such a wonderful family. I have such great parents and I want to thank them for all that they do for me, Tim and Addison.

Thanks to everyone that helped make this day so great. I appreciate all the phones calls, and emails. I am especially thankful to my husband who got off work early so he could spend the rest of the day with me.

Hey Kim- gotta blogger question for ya. How did you get your display picture (your family picture off to the right) small? I try to add a picture of Ryan and I and it only does it really big? Do you remember how you did that?

Hey Kim! This is Linsey (Okubo) Sorensen. Your daughter is so gorgeous what a doll! I came across your blog the same night I found Teylor's and Muranda's. I guess you all know my bro-in-law Chris Pizza.
Anyways your family is so cute. Hope all is well.
